Our last day in Perth !!

Our last day in Perth. We awoke in Victoria Park for our last day! We decided to do the boring stuff of catching up on our washing and packing our bags..... Arghhhh!!!!!! We took Digger for his last walk and decided to head into the City. We walked in along the Riverside and took in the skyline for the last time. We perused some shops and came across Mickey J, one of the buskers. We’d caught his act a couple of times but had never seen it all through to the end before. He’s a mime / break dancer, really good one too. He starts his act with Enrique Iglesias (not sure the spelling!) Escape song and he presents a rose to a lady in the audience ....... cue Mrs Hines!!!! His whole act for that song was to me..... it was funny but very embarrassing. The next part of his act was a bit of break dancing and he needed a member of the audience ......... cue Mr Hines!!!! Ben had to do the “Arm Wave” thingy in front of everyone. Unluckily the act was interrupted by a drunken woman but after much running about and running off up the street, Mickey was back to start again..... with Ben!! Ben did quite well, I reckon he’s a secret wannabe dancer ... what with his winning dance in 2005, Belly Dancing and now a break dancer! I was gotten up again to have a bit of a waltz with Mickey, what a great send off for us both. We thought a quick pint in the Moon & Sixpence was called for ...... our last!!

We made it home and cooked some tea. We made sure we had packed everything and we were ready to go. Emma gave us a leaving present ... an awesome book, which we’ll never forget and never stop reading.... love it! Miss you guys !!
